"Isaaru, why doesn't that man have any clothes on?"
"Good question." replied Isaaru's other brother evenly, swiftly attempting to turn the child around and steer him in the opposite direction.
Isaaru, feeling a little overheated in his bulky robes, couldn't help but envy the man slightly. Even with all nonessential layers stripped off, he was practically baking in this heat. His hair hung loose around his shoulders, shielding the back of his neck from the sun- the weather had brought out its red tint, which always incited some rather teasing comments from his brothers.
It was strange, but he was sure he recognised the man from somewhere. Discreetly, Isaaru watched him as he turned away, trying not to look as if he was doing so. There was something so familiar about him, it was almost frustrating that Isaaru couldn't place him. Meanwhile, Maroda was tugging Pacce's arm.
"Stop staring!"
"If he doesn't want people to stare at him he should put some clothes on," replied Pacce matter-of-factly.
"Come on, Pacce. Leave him alone. Look, those ladies are helping him now, see?"
"He doesn't look very happy about it."
"I'm sure he'd be a lot happier if you stopped looking at him!"
"Sweet gods," interjected Isaaru, who'd just realised where he recognised the man from. "That's Sir Auron."
Wide-eyed, Maroda turned around and stared at him.

Catching his breath, Zell leaned against the pale wall of the Training Room. Sliding down the wall he sat against the cool ground hugging his knees. 'Why do I bother training?' He asked himself. It had been so long since he needed to use his skills. And he visited the training center everyday. In hopes that maybe he will have to use his skills someday.
It had been some time now since Balamb had any excitement. And of all people, Zell, was the one going out of his mind. He hated being bored. HATED it. Looking around the grassy plain he was resting along he rolled his eyes. 'What happened to everyone? Did they all forget how to have fun?'
Slowly getting up and dusting himself off. He equipped the 'no encounter' ability and headed towards the entrance. He had enough training for today. Hanging his head low in a defeated manner he left the area and walked down the empty halls.

This is, by far, the most obnoxious headache I've ever had... I have a headache? Pale violet eyes opened to a familiar surrounding, but an unfamiliar ceiling. What... in Yevon's name...? Seymour sat up and looked around. It was his room... at least, he thought it was his room. Except it looked as if a rotten interior decorator took ahold of it and splashed it with gaudy designs and clashing colors.
He stood up and looked around, his eyes narrowing in disgust as he looked about his room.
What... happened...? Is this some sort of sick joke? He mused, curling a lip and exiting the room, determined to find an answer. What he saw was something completely different.
Tromell...? he started down the stairs and watched Tromell for a moment, lips slightly parted.
"Lord Seymour...? Wh-What are you doing here?" Tromell sounded the same as always and walked towards his former lord, wrapping his arms tightly around Seymour's waist.
"Enough, Tromell," Seymour pat the old guado on the shoulder as Tromell stepped back.
"What are you doing out of the farplane...?" Tromell asked.
Farplane...? Seymour raised an eyebrow at Tromell. Although annoyed some of the time with the elder, Seymour couldn't help but respect Tromell. He showed nothing but undying loyalty to him.
"Lord Seymour, I beg of you, go rest in the farplane." Tromell encouraged, then paused. "How is it that you are out? You don't smell of the farplane at all..."
"Should I?" Seymour asked, cocking his head to the side. What the hell is going on...?

She wasn't entirely sure what she was feeling, but she rolled over, and immediately felt something cold agaisnt her face, her body. Almost instantantly she felt a chill and her teeth began to chatter.
"Where..?" She croaked, and Yunalesca nearly yelped at the pain using her voice caused. Her throat was raw, and dry, and she turned to began coughing against her snowy bed.
Snow?...She must be at Mount Gagzet. She coughed again and managed to get to her hands and knees. The wind was cold and harsh, and her golden eyes could barely make out the shapes of rocks jutting out to reach the sky.
"Hello?" She choked out, ignoring the pain. She stumbled up wearily to her feet, "HELLO?"

Wakka blinked again, and pu a hand on Braska's shoulder. He knew the man from when he was quite young, Yuna and Wakka used to kick the blitzball around before. "I'm Wakka, you knew me when I was younger. I played with your daughter, Yuna. You're following me, ya?" he continued, "Well, you died fighting SIN a very long time ago. Heck, Yuna went on her own pilgramedge as High Summoner, and we defeated SIN! Now she's a Sphere Hunter with the Gullwings. Still with me Sir?"

An auburn colored eye slowly opened to a bright light, blinding it for a moment as it adjusted to the surroundings. The man coughed loudly and sat up with a struggle. "Oh..." the man muttered as he felt a stinging pain ride up his spine. He looked around and noticed that he was sitting in the middle of a desert, with small dunes, and a bright sun, beating down upon the area. He smacked his lips together to try and saturate his mouth with saliva, he was dying of thirst.
Snorting a little, he popped his spine and went to stand. Being thirsty was the last thing on his mind when he looked down. "Shit..." he breathed, seeing his genitalia flying in the breeze. He immidiately cupped himself and made off in a random direction. Stepping light and quickly, so as not to burn his bare feet, he made his way inland and noticed that he was on a beach of some sort. I don't recognize this place... he thought, seeing a line of tan adobe biuldings and houses.
With no hesitation he turned and ran to the edge of the water and threw himself in. A loud splash could be heard, which caught the attention of some passer by. He sighed with relief as he floated idly, enjoying the cool water against his hot skin.
"Sanubia...?" he said aloud, raising a brow, "This can't be..." he reassured himself as he swam back to shore. When climbed out he noticed there were several women huddling around him. He groaned and sank down against the sand, feeling like shit, and completely drained of energy.
"This isn't a nude beach, you pervert." one of the girls snapped, placing a hand firmly on her bare hip. The other three girls just stared at him, one blushing a little.
"Excuse me?" Auron asked, "Nude beach?"
"Yeah, a nude beach. Get some clothes on."
"I don't... have any." he mumbled. One of the girls ran off and came back a few moments later with a towel and tossed it to him. "Here you are, this'll do until you can find some. "Monica!?" one of them bitched, "Don't be nice!?" she continued.
The nice girl ignored her friend and watched the man cover himself. "What's you name?"
"My name? My name... it's Auron, I think..." he said looking down, remembering another shred of his memory.
"Well, Auron, there's a shop on main street where you can get some duds."
"Duds?" he repeated.
"Clothes, hon." the girl smiled. Her other friends huffed and
stomped off, rolling their eyes. "Ignore them. Come on, I'll show you."

"Dead?" Braska blinked up at the larger man, sure that his eyes looked as large as they felt. "Surely you must be joking. And, though I'm always for a bit of fun, this is not funny." Braska couldn't believe it. There was absolutely no way he could have been dead. Why, just a few moments ago, he was in the Calm Lands, summoning the Final Aeon. But Dead? Did that mean he was dead now? Should he try to send himself to see? "This is rediculous, who are you, anyway?"

Wakka had been practicing with the Aurochs all day. They had to get better! This year, they'd take the cup in Luca, even without Tidus. Since he'd vanished, the Aurochs had slipped into a rut, losing more than half of all their matches, even after Yuna had tried coaching them. Wakka drilled them every day, rain or no, sunny or cloudy. It was really getting on his nerves, the smug looks the other teams gave!
Wakka turned and blinked, falling over as he recieved a blitzball to the side of the head. Grumbling, he stood up, dusting sand from his outfit and face. He turned to his team and shouted, "Okay guys! Practice on your own, ya?"
He turned and bustled over to Braska, staring, jaw hanging open. "M-M-Mister Braska?! What in Spira's name're you doing back in Besaid? N-Not that you're not welcome.. but.. well... you've been -dead- for a very long time Sir."

Braska sat up, his head swimming sickeningly. Where was he? Through blurry eyes, he saw green, and blue, and white. He closed his eyes once more and lay back, feeling hot sand beneath one limp hand. Sand? The last thing he remembered was being in the Calm Lands, Sin looming far above him. And there was definately no sand like this there.
The ringing in his ears subsided, and the raucous call of seagulls fought with the sound of crashing waves, and the sent of sea air filled him. Sea? He opened his eyes once more and struggled to his feet. How could he have not noticed that his clothes were soaked through?
His vision a little clear, his head not hurting quite as badly, he looked around again. Besaid...he was in Besaid. How in hell? Shouts down the beach caught his attention, and he moved toward them, his sodden robe making the going difficult. Damn these things. Up ahead he saw a group of men, in yellow uniforms. The Besaid blitzball team. Weren't they the Aurochs? The Aurons? He just couldn't quite remember. He stumbled on, and raised a hand when one of them finally noticed him, a rather large individual with oddly swept red hair.

Fucking testing
testing @ 09:32 p.m.
Welcome
Welcome to Worlds Apart, a little Final Fantasy RPG thought up by Amanda, Maya, and Amanda. If you're interested in joining our merry little band, make sure you read the overview, the rules and regulations, and take a glance over the current posts, to see what we expect, then fill out the form that can be found below.
Overview
To roughly explain the concept, imagine FFVII, FFVIII, FFIX, and FFX all existing on the same "planet". They would all be on different continents, where, if you were from "Spira", you could just hope in a boat or on an airship, and fly to another continent, where a different set of circumstances would come into play. Also, it's important to note that the Lifestream and the Farplane are...well, wonky, allowing the dead to once again walk the earth.
Characters
Braska is a summoner, once blacklisted for his marriage to an Al Bhed female. He enlisted the services of two guardians, Auron, a good friend, and Jecht, a man who claimed to be from the city of Zanarkand, a place that had been destroyed a thousand years before. Braska is a kind person, who always wears a smile. He's forgiving, and never fails to see the good in every situation.
Played by Amanda.
Auron is the legendary guardian who accompanied High Summoner Braska on his pilgrimage. He later guided both Yuna and Tidus to vanquish Sin once more. Most look to him as the encyclopedia of Spira, and also as a leader. He can be very cold and grumpy at times, but he's really kind at heart.
Played by Maya.
One of the four maesters of Yevon, Seymour's half-man, half-guado heritage caused ruckus between the two races. He believes that all life is suffering and the only escape from it is death. Cold, collected and eerily stoic - Seymour shows enormous respect to all those who cross his path - even his enemies.
Played by Amanda.
Part of a former crack Sphere Hunter team, Rikku is quite able to handle herself. Sassy and in command, she knows what she wants, and she'll get it. Or she'll know why. She can be a bit whiney, and tends to be a bit of a follower, but is strong in her own right. Yunie is her best friend, and as for a sig other...well, there isn't really anyone. And Brother is always on her case, about her language ("Disatorific!" is apparently not a word) and her behaviour.
Played By Ria.
Jecht is a man who you think you'd more likely see in a bar than fighting fiends. But, be as that may, the "Man from Zanarkand" became one of Braska's guardians, even if it it was only to get out of jail. So committed did he become, he let himself be transformed into an aeon for Braska's final battle with Sin. Short-tempered, with a fun-streak a mile wide, Jecht was (and still is) a thorn in Auron's side.
Played by Amanda.
Cid is a dreamer really, a man who hasnt given up his dream to touch the stars, even after a failed rocket flight
attempt. Always a man to say whats on his mind, brash, swears, smokes, drinks, he remains a very loyal comrade, a tough fighting dragoon, is able to drive just about anything, and fix it in the meantime.
Played by Sirius
Wakka is many things. First and foremost, Wakka is the star player (since Tidus
vanished), and coach, of the Besaid Aurochs. Secondly, he is a good friend, and Guardian, of Ex-Summoner and Sphere Hunter, Yuna. He once journeyed with her and the other Guardians, to the many Temples of the Fayth, and helped to defeat SIN. Now, he lives in Besaid with his wife, Lulu, and child Vidina, playing Blitzball when he can.
Played by Jeff.
Sephiroth is the infamous ex-general megalomaniac who tried to use Meteor on the planet. After the worlds collided, Jenova seemed to disappear and Sephiroth woke to a nice shock of what he had tried to do. Eager to settle the score with Cloud and co., Sephiroth goes on a search for them. Cold, apathetic and not afraid to laugh at his own jokes, Sephiroth proves to be a worthy, but weird adversary.
Played by Amanda.
Only child of Yu Yevon and one of the most powerful and influential people of ancient Zanarkand. She was known for her beauty, regalness and air of power. She is a talented magic user and Summoner, and believes in the preservation of her culture- at all costs.
Played by Mandi.
Energetic yet sensitive at times, Zell can get himself into trouble by 'living in the moment' He has a carefree spirit and is always looking for fun. He is also very modest but at the same time very confident in his fighting. As far as romance, he is oblivious when girls are flirting and really has no time for that 'stuff'
Played by Brittney.
Lah-Nah is an exceptionally smart Moomba. He was taken in by Laguna at a young age, while Laguna was teaching Moombas to talk. At first, he seemed slower than all the others, pronouncing Laguna as "Lah nah!" Laguna thought this was really cute, and named him "Lah-Nah". The two grew really close, and for a while they were hardly seen apart, though Lah-Nah lives on his own now. His voice is high-pitched and growly, and he sounds perpetually cheerful, which he is!
Played by Jeff.
Isaaru, once one of that rare breed- a male summoner-, is now living in Bevelle with his brothers. He is at a bit of a loose end, having lost not only his purpose as a Summoner but also Zanarkand. However, he still manages to retain that gentle, self-assured courtesy and dedication that kept him going for so long on his pilgrimage. And just for the record, that rumour about the monkeys was not true.
Played by Sofa.
Rules And Regulations
Please make sure to read these carefully. Failure to do so will result in you being rejected from the rpg. We're not mean, just stringent. Also, as I'm guessing this rpg will more than likely have more adult themes, please be mature. On to the rules!
1) No more than two characters can be taken per person.
2) Yaoi/Yuri is acceptable as long as it's believable. Not justifiable, just believable. Sexual stuff is also permitted, but you must have a warning before the post.
3) Rate your posts: PG, PG-13, R, NC-17 and explain in short why they are rated as such.
4) No one liners... if you make a single post, make sure it's para rp. If you're doing an AIM rp, then it's acceptable but don't over use it. Use good descriptions.
5) Grammar and spelling - make sure it's good. No internet speak allowed. No exceptions.
6) For AIM/YM rp sessions - Make it pretty... i.e., take out the screen names and make it look more like you're telling a story.
7) No God-moding. First offense: warned. Second offense: character is forfeited and you are kicked out.
8) We may allow OCs in the future - but none for now. If this changes, you'll know it. This also means that there will be no oc villains or anything.
9) Within the first 24 hours of signing up, you must have an introduction post. If you fail to comply, you will forfeit your character. If you are unable to do it because of personal life, please contact one of the owners.
10) Stay active. If you are inactive for more than 14 days, your character is considered forfeit. Again, there are exceptions as long as you let one of the owners know and if it's valid. (example: school finals week or family vacation... etc).
11) Applications will be sent VIA e-mail to. To make sure you've read all of these type booyaka! in the second comments field after your test post.
12) By reading these rules you understand that we are looking for serious and good rpers only. You also understand that we aren't making profit, so don't sue us Squenix. Owners may delete or suspend your account without warning or explanation. But don't worry, we're not that mean.
